Ayla wrapped up her season with some overall titles in the British Nationals and French Nationals. Whitelines Magazine calls her the “Queen of the Brits”. In a region that holds their royalty in high regard, Ayla is a well deserving and stoked kid. This title sweep tops off a season that includes a Junior World Freeride title as well. Ayla takes her Gateway all over the mountain and proves it’s a worthy freestyle board beyond the parks and pipes, but into the extremes as well. She was the highest scoring Junior in the French Nationals pipe, and she claimed a top 5 in the women’s field which included 3 Sochi Olympians!
In The British Nationals Ayla competed in the women’s category, forfeiting her youth age group, and placed 3rd in the finals. She claimed first in youth half pipe as well as Overall British Champion. In slopestyle she also defended her Youth Champion title and took Silver in the Overall category.
