Jamie Anderson finishes up the competitive season strong walking away with three trophies today at the U.S. Open. Riding her Gnu Ladies Choice all season long, today in Vermont Jamie claimed all three major titles on the line including the 2012 US Open Slopestyle title (worth $25,000), the 2012 Burton Global Open Series Slopestyle Championship title (worth $25,000) and the TTR Slopestyle World Tour Championship title.
Three’s proving to be a magic number for her having now won three consecutive TTR Championship titles. The first two on a Gnu B-Pro and most recently on the Gnu Ladies Choice with Pickle Tech. asymmetry, which she helped the board builders at Gnu craft. Both winning models feature C2 Power Banana with Magne-Traction.
“I can’t believe I’m walking off the podium with three trophies,” Jamie says. “It’s enough to just win the US Open slopestyle title, which I haven’t won since 2007. But to also go home with the BGOS and TTR Championship titles is a huge honor.”
No one could catch Jamie, who put together what again proved to be an unbeatable run in the second round for a 90.1, which was nearly 12 points higher than the second place finisher. The Tahoe-local’s winning run included a frontside boardslide to fakie, Cab 720 nose grab, switch backside 540 mute grab, tailslide 270 out and ending things with a 50-50 backside 180 out.

Congrats to Gnu Girl Kaitlyn Farrington for winning the season’s Grand Prix series with a second place over the weekend at the final Grand Prix stop at Mammoth Mountain. She also earned the Maloof Best Trick with a huge back 900 riding the new for 2013 Gnu Velvet Guru with EC2 elliptical camber. Proving how unstoppable Kaitlyn is this winter, her last month of riding went down with a cast on her right wrist following surgery following a break last month. The Idaho-native hopped straight from the podium onto a flight to the U.S. Open in Vermont.
“Mammoth GP was really fun even when it was super windy we got to ride some powder. But it was great when the sun finally came out for the contest!“-Kaitlyn
