Barrett's Magical Backcountry Access Splitboard

Barrett Christy works with Maria Debari and her husband Temple Cummins in the Olympic mountains to refine women’s splitboard technology and designs. This splitboard features slight adjustments to flex and torsion to accommodate the split and C2 Banana tech to insure easy float in the pow. Magical things appear when you leave the beaten path! The B-Pro splits contributes a portion of each sale to B4BC.

  • About the Art

Adam Haynes brings his magic to everything he does. His B-Pro fantasy graphic for 13/14 is the liquid continuation of the steamy love story that we introduced last season. The dream continues from the mountains down to the ocean as the pegacorns stir up a frothy wet romance scene for the underwater lovers. Let your imagination run wild with this graphic… or check Gnu.com for the first chapter and the full love story as told by Tina Fairbanks. More of Adam’s art at Stickfort.com

Tech Talk

These split boards share the same tech as the B-pro, one of the top selling women’s boards of all time. Split boards aren’t just for big mountain hippies anymore! The B-pro splits truly open up a world of adventure and magic to riders of all backgrounds and abilities. I finally got to put a Gnu girls team trip together and squeeze all the activities that I love to do into one week in my home area. We did an S4 trip on the Olympic Peninsula, in Mervin’s backyard. Snowboarder Mag will do a better job of telling the story but it was one of those weeks that came together even better than I imagined. Powder to ride, B-Pro splits to access the goods, sunshine to light up the mountain, waves to wake up to, and a fun motivated crew to ride, surf, skate and spa with. -Barrett Christy

“The B- Pro Split has changed the way I experience the amazing back country terrain where I live. It’s faster, lighter weight, and smoother than my old set up. It is quick and easy to change from splitting to snowboarding and accessing the “top of the world” is now so much more fun!” -Maribeth Swetkoff-Kramer

“This year was my first time on my majestic split board and it was amazing. It completely opened up a new side of snowboarding for me!” -Kaitlyn Farrington

“My experiences with split boarding in the past were less than enjoyable. But then I tried the Gnu womens split board and it was soooooo much easier. It was so fun and addicting, I didnt want to stop.” -Danyale Patterson

“I love my B-Pro split board because it is light on the way up and rides like a regular B-Pro snowboard on the way down.” -Maria DeBari
