Hey! I’m going to Niseko for next winter and looking for a pow stick, would you recommend this board out of your line? Thanks

  • GNU

    Hi Mia,
This board will blow your mind in powder.
It’s setback 2 inches, which will maximize flotation.
The EC2 base contour is the perfect blend of playful and aggressive.
And the asymmetry will add tons of fun and excitement to your turns/carves.

I’ve never ridden a board similar to this one, and I was very, very pleasantly surprised!

  • jra

i usually ride a 153/154… would the zoid be to small for me?

  • GNU

This board is quite a bit smaller than a 153/154, so it’s going to be a different feeling ride.
But because it’s so directional it turns and floats through powder exceptionally well!
Size is really up to your own individual preference, but if you provide some additional information, I’d be happy to make a suggestion.

How tall are you, how much do you weight, what size are your boots and what type of terrain to you like to ride?!

  • jra

Thanks for the reply… I’m 5’9, 150.. I wear a men’s size 8 boot and love all mountain and pow riding!!

  • GNU

The 149 won’t be too small for you to ride and I think you could have TONS of fun with it.
But if you’re used to riding boards 4-5cm bigger, I’m not sure this is the ideal board for you.

  • Chan Ti Eu

I am male, 170cm, 130lbs and using size 9 boots. Looking at the weight range of the mens and women boards, I am wondering the womens board might be more suitable for my weight. I’m not sure if it’s a good fit for my boot size though. Can the GNU team comment please? P.S. I live for pow.

  • GNU

Size 9 boots might be cutting it a little close and you could be at risk for toe drag.
But it the 149 will be money for your height and weight!

  • James

Did you choose between the men’s and ladie’s Zoid? I’m 120lbs and size 9 boot as well.

  • Chan Ti Eu

I didn’t buy it in the end lol.
