All Terrain Freestyle Twin
The Velvet Guru spent its first season collecting awards and accolades as Gnu Girl’s first EC2 board. The award winning elliptical C2 twin geometries provide pop and stability for aggressive lines on the mountain or in the park. The Velvet Guru rode onto superpipe podiums with Kaitlyn Farrington, was recognized for its awesomeness by Transworld, Snowboard Mag, and Outside Mag, and it had a killer breakout season just like we knew it would. The subtle camber blend combined with Banana Tech and Magne-Traction make the Velvet Guru as easy as a walk in the park, as snappy as a best-dressed covergirl, and as bold and bright as your favorite cocktail! Of course it’s smooth and stylish like velvet always is, enjoy the Velvet Guru as your go-to board for any playground.

- About the Art
Christina “Pika” Burtner, inspired by the jungle and all it’s wildlife, created this graphic for the Velvet Guru’s launch. Jungle dreams, skinny jeans, and black velvet all inspired this bold, bright and playful artwork. The featured jungle creatures are smooth and stylish like the ladies who ride this board.

Tell me a story about a day on your board:
My Velvet Guru EC2 BTX or as I call it my Love Guru really helps me try and soar when riding the halfpipe. Why do I call it the love guru? Maybe it’s just because the board is my love, my one and only love at the moment. I’ve ridden it all season this year, I strap it to my truck (my mini cooper) and ride it in everything… powder, jumps, rails, pipe and I love it, it’s a great board! EC2 makes it easy to go from one thing to the next, because I don’t really like to switch up my equipment much, I just find something that works and stick with it!
