Terri Mayrer Awarded Female Coach of the Year at HCSC

Terri Mayrer was awarded Female Coach of the Year at HCSC… again! She and Sandra Hillen ran the Gnu girls clinics all summer and were largely responsible for the high demand of Gnu girls boards in the demo center. The girls Park Pickle was so popular, it was by far the most demoed Women’s board all summer long at HCSC. She and Sandra will be teaming up at Woodward again this winter, spreading the GNU stoke to the Rockies!

This summer has been my second summer as a coach at High Cascade Snowboard Camp. The summer at High Cascade is definitely fun filled and the excitement is non stop. I wake up in the morning, eat breakfast from the “K Unit” and go meet my campers on the street course. We ride up to the hill on the ice cream bus and have an extreme day of learning, hanging out, and being silly. Then I continue the fun after boardin’ by playing kickball, running girl’s skate clinics, playing dodgeball, and so much more. I was awarded female coach of the year for the second year in a row, so come visit me next summer!

As for now, I am starting work again as a coach at Woodward at Copper. Woodward is a great place to work and train; I can’t believe I get to work at such a “fun factory”! I get to coach people bouncing on the trampolines, launching into foam pits from the trampolines, and boardin’ off the snowflex jump into a foam pit. When the snow flies I coach on snow in Copper’s Catalyst terrain park too. So many crazy tricks go down at Woodward!
