  • GNU

Yeah the 151.5 sounds like it’ll be the perfect size.
And this board is INCREDIBLE…she’ll be stoked.

  • KM

    Thanks heaps!

  • Icic

Hi! After years of renting I’m looking for my first board! I get on pretty well on and off piste, and try small stuff in the parks. That is why I thought of the ladies choice. But I’m not sure which size to pick. I’m 170 cm tall and weigh 56 kg. My shoe size is 38. Thanks!

  • GNU

The Ladies Choice will be an incredible first board and it will hold up to intermediate and advanced riding as you progress!
I think the 151.5 will be the most versatile size for you and it will be awesome everywhere.
However, if you plan on spending the majority of your time in the park, you could consider sizing down to the 148.5.

  • Icic

Thanks for the advice! I will take the 151.5, and I’m glad that this is the right board choice, because I love the graphics 🙂

  • JenniferMarie718

Love my Ladies Choice board! Looks like I need new bindings. Are there any you can recommend that go well with the tech on this board?

  • Maggie

Hi! I’m looking for a new board. I am an advanced rider and I enjoy the groomers and powder the most. I occasionally go to snowparks and only for small jumps. I’m 165cm tall, 55kg. Would you recommend me Ladies Choice or some other board? What size would be the best? Thanks.

  • Wonderer

Can I ask why the GNU Ladies Choice sold by REI has a different design than the one shown on GNU’s site? Are they selling something different, or is this just a different design specific for REI?

  • GNU

That link you sent is last year’s graphic–it looks like they may have mislabled it 15/16.

  • GNU

    So sorry for the delay!
The Gnu B-Free is a fantastic binding, but anything that fits your boots well and feels comfy will be a great pairing.

  • GNU

    Our apologies for the delay!
The Ladies Choice is one of versatile board in the Gnu ladies collection, so it’s a no-brainer!
But you may also like the Klassy or the Velvet Gnuru–I’d recommend something in the 144-147 range.

  • Dea Lee

hey. I need a new board and I am interested in the ladies choice!!! but not sure which size…
I m advanced, 164cm and 52/53kg. most off the time on piste, sometimes small stuff in park and sometimes powder.

  • Em

Hello I recently got the ladies choice at my local board shop in the size 148.5 because that is what they recommended. They didn’t have a 151.5 there but you could order one. Asked two of the people there and they both said 148.5 so thats what I decided to get.
I am 172cm, 64kg, size 8.5 boot, I am on the east coat and usually spend almost all my time riding park. I am wondering if I got the right size?

  • Alice

I’ve been desperately searching for this board in the 2015 design 145.5 size and not having any luck do you have any suggestions of anyone who might still stock last years?

  • Jilly

hi there, i am 170cm, 58.5kg and an intermediate rider on piste and powder. looking to advance my riding doing small tricks on the piste and maybe eventually a little park. i am keen on the ladies choice but do not know whether to go for the 145.5 or 148.5. as i already have a powder board i am leaning towards 145.5 but it sounds so short and i am worried about stability and edge hold, especially as effective edge seems short for the size of board. advice would be great.

  • Maria Irianni

How well does this board handle in powder?

  • JenniferMarie718

Rode this board in POW POW on Saturday and it was fantastic! 🙂

  • ArA

    Hi There ! I’m 157cm/42kg/advanced rider on slope/powde.
Does the ladies’ choice 145,5 model fits me ? or it’s to tall ?

  • GNU

This board handles absolutely anything wonderfully and with minimal effort.

  • emily wada

    thanks 🙂

  • serious buyer

i want to buy this board, but not sure whether to get the 145.5 or the 148.5. i ride intermediate park (10′ to 25′ jumps, quarter pipes, boxes, etc.). i currently ride a salomon oh yeah in 147, so i’m right in between sizes. all my guy friends are telling me to get the shortest board possible. what do you think will be the main difference in performance?

  • serious buyer

btw, i’m 5’6″ and 145lbs if it makes a difference

  • josee giguere

Hey, I am an advanced level rider. I am searching for a board that will allow for full control through ice and powder while allowing for me to still go fast. I was looking at the ladies choice or the bpro and was wondering what you thought would be best for me. I don’t do park but sometimes end up on moguls and need to be able to have that control. Thanks !

  • Charlotte Louise Pole

Hi I am looking at buying my first ever new board. I am currently riding a 148cm Silence board. I ride at an intermediate-advanced level and I like to ride all over the mountain. I hope to get better at park and powder in the future. I am 114 lbs and about 5’6″, what board and length do you recommend? I want something that will give me more control on groomers, especially when its icy or compacted.

  • Kelly Gafa

I currently ride and love the gnu pickle size 140 (I’m 5’0, 110 lbs, 7 boot) I love the playfulness of this board but I need something that will handle powder and chunder better but still be able to pop. I’m torn between the Ladies Choice 145.5 and the B-Pro 143 or 146. I want to go a little bigger since this board is going to be primarily for pow days. Its rare I purchase a board with out demoing it first so I could really use some advice.

  • Jo

I’m going to order the Ladies Choice online but need some help with the size. I’ve been using the GNU b-Nice 145cm. I’m 5’4″ tall , weighs 110-115 lbs, size 7 boot. I’m a beginner/intermediate rider and don’t do much park yet. I’m going to Japan also next year for snowboarding and hoping to bring this board along. Can you please advise which size is suitable for me… 145.5 or 148.5?

  • GNU

The 145.5 sounds like it is a better option–it will pack more of a punch than your B-Nice, too!
So even if you don’t size up to a 148.5, you’ll get a lot more power out of the Ladies Choice 145.5 than the B-Nice 145.

  • GNU

    Both boards will be killer!
The Ladies Choice might feel more floaty in powder, but the B-Pro might feel more sturdy on difficult terrain,

Sizing up for a powder board sounds like a good choice to me!

  • GNU

148.5 Ladies Choice or 147 Velvet Gnuru–either board will be a life changer!

  • GNU

You can’t go wrong with either board!
The Ladies Choice might feel more playful, and floaty in powder.
But the B-Pro might feel more aggressive, and sturdy on difficult terrain,

  • GNU

148.5 sounds like it will be the better option for you.

  • GNU

The 145.5 should be fantastic for you if you’re spending a lot of time in powder and off the groomers.

  • Kelly Gafa

Bought a capita since u guys took so long to get back to me.

    Thank you.

  • GNU

I’m sorry to hear that, Kelly–but I hope you love your new board!
In the future, visiting your local shop or giving us a call can yield a quicker response.

  • Angela

I -‘ 165lbs, 5’4 and ride a 155 button board now… I do a bit of park, all terrain and pow am thinking I would like to buy the 151.5 ladies choice EC2 BTX Asymmetric Twin Freestyle- sound like a good one to chose?

How do I do that online? (Can’t find the link) I’m

  • Angela

    Oops Burton board lol

  • Debby Meades

I love my Gold Edition Ladies Choice and am afraid of bringing it in for an edge sharpening, but it is due. Are shops accustomed to the magne traction? Am I worried for nothing?

  • GNU

    Hi Debby,
Our Magne-Traction edges can be sharpened using the same tools/processes as any other board–a tuning shop should be able to work their magic without any trouble at all!

  • GNU

Yeah! The 151.5 sounds like it will be a lot more maneuverable/versatile for you–perfect for voyaging into the park and progressing all over the mountain.

We are all sold out though, so you’ll need to check out online retailers (Google’s shopping search is useful for this!) or call around to your local shops.
Here is a link to our dealer locator:

But with it being late in the season, this board might be impossible to track down, it’s definitely one of our best selling models.

  • kerry matthew

Hi. I’ve been riding the Burton 147. I’m 5’4″ 105-110 lbs, size 7 boot. I ride at an intermediate-advanced level and I like to ride all over the mountain and don’t do much park yet. Can you please advise which board and size is suitable for me?

  • GNU

    Hi Kerry,
I think the 145.5 will be the most versatile size for you–if you want to start riding in the park, it offer will a lot of maneuverability and a playful feel. However, it’s long enough that it will still feel solid when riding at high speeds and offer a generous amount if you ever find yourself in powder!

  • GNU

So sorry for the delay, but the 148.5 sounds perfect for you.
We hope you are LOVING the Ladies Choice, it’s a wonderful board!

  • Gela Mp

Will you ever restock this one? I’ve been saving money to get the 145.5 one but it’s sold out everywhere :'(

  • GNU

    Hi there,
Unfortunately, we are 100% sold out for the 15/16 season, but a new version will be released for 16/17!
Keep an eye on our website this September or visit your local shop!

  • Skye

Hi there, I’m looking at getting new board and thinking either ladies choice or smart pickle and wanting some advice on which would suit better and differences. I’m a intermediate rider currently riding Burton feel good flying v which I like but not the best edge control on hard pack and being directional struggling to learn switch. I want a stable catch free ride and generally ride all mountain and started to learn park boxes and beginners jumps and wanting to ride switch. Which board do you think would be best suited and what’s the main differences with these two boards? Also I’m 51kgs and 162cms tall… Cheers

  • GNU

I think the Ladies Choice will be more fun for you–Burton’s Flying V is a camber/rocker hybrid, so I think you’ll appreciate the camber underfoot that the Ladies Choice offers. It will provide you with more stability, power and pop than the Smart Pickle. And paired with our Magne-Traction (serrated edges) it make your Feelgood feel like a toy and completely change the way you ride…Seriously, this board will blow your mind.

  • Skye

Wicked, thanks heaps for the advice..I’m sold! Ladies choice it is! Cheers

  • Undecided

I’m 5’4 and 135lbs with size 6 shoes. Currently riding a 148 men’s rocker beginner board. Was debating between the ladies choice and 15/16 Beauty which I see isn’t available for 16/17 season. Planning to start getting into trees more and hunt for powder and bring something to Japan. Should I look at Ladies Choice for 16/17 season at 148.5 or 151.5 or the 15/16 Beauty 149 or 152? Someone mentioned Klassy too…. Beauty is suppose to be good on pow…

  • Aroa Ibañez

hello I wanted to know is there any chance to have a measure of 135 cm?

  • Karen

Hi i’m a beginner to intermediate rider who is still learning/practicing carving and linking turns.
I’m debating between the ladies choice, Gnu Ladies Gateway and 2015-2016 Gnu Klassy.
Which one would you recommend for me?
