ALL MOUNTAIN - DIRECTIONAL

Not your gutless fish. Travis has juiced up this Jackson Hole resort slasher into an apex all terrain tech shred predator. A long floaty nose combined with a powerful poppy contact maximizing short radius “Whale Tail Technology”. A tight 7m trench gouging sidecut. Wide enough to allow you to really put it on a hardpack rail with no toe drag and float pillows like a dream but still narrow enough to be your daily driver all season long. Take it to AK, drop BC pillow stacks or blow minds at the home resort all season. A mammal to eat all fish. TR. Award winning!

VOLUME SHIFTED, RIDE THIS BOARD 3-6 CM SHORTER THAN YOUR NORMAL BOARD.

  • Now built with eco-sublimated Ocean-bound PBT top material made from recycled PET plastic waist collected from coastal areas.
  • Introducing strong, poppy Makah Hemlock wood cores sustainably harvested by the Makah tribe who reside on the Northwestern most corner of the USA near our factory.

Travis and Mervin will be donating a portion of the sale of each Orca snowboard to the www.orcaconservancy.org in support of their efforts to prevent the extinction of the Salish Sea’s Southern Resident Killer Whales. #betheirvoice

truly phenomenal deck as it's name nothing is like an ORCA

I was lucky to buy it in February i think. I'm living in Innsbruck Austria which is the sickest place in Europe for snowboarding and I'm snowboarding since 98 with 5 years around stop, so before the lock down i had sick and insane powder days with some 1m (40inches)+ of snow. I bought the 150 cause the 153 was sold out. Normally I ride 157 banana magic early season board and 157 TRS main and i'm 173 tall 70kg. Bought insane boards different picture of course they are twins and still killing deep pow. I knew its gonna rip cause the specs with the 153 are very close but I had this unknown feeling going from 157 to 150 but it was amazingly insane this board from the very first time rode it, it took like a rocket. First in kinda slushy conditions bumps and rough parts eating everything on its way jumping and landing on bumps like never before going extremely fast straight trough 20/30cm bumps, ballistic the flex the shape the side cut radius i mean LIB experiMENTAL division and Travis just nailed it like none else to have a volume shifted pow board that you can kill all around the mountain and it is so fast i'm faster than my best friend Fritz skiing and he goes down ballistic he is skiing since 3 years old nothing stays in his way. In pow its hard to be explained with words cause its hands down one of the best pow machines of all time. i think THE BEST when u jump in pow there is magical landing feeling u can only experience it no words can describe it, the float in extreme deep pow 100cm+ from 150 board is unmatched, it's insane straight and insane swimming around the trees like in star wars over all its antigravity in powder this is actually the hover board from Back to the Future even better cause u ride it in powder nothing is better than riding powder. So the Legendary ORCA is one hell of a snowboard so versatile u can rip like hell even when its not a pow day highly recommend to check Travis videos for the Orca if you are wondering which size u need and they are so cool he speaks everything as it is and from his heart i was god blessed to meet him quite a few times that doesn't matter cause we all know Travis and Jordan are true to the core. MERVIN is the most environMENTAL Board factory and we have to really start taking care for planet EARTH and they are doing this since day on cheers to the whole MERVIN family and Travis for giving a portion of the money from the next year boards to the orca conservancy foundation.

This thing is a MONSTER!!!!!

This thing is a monster anywhere you want to go. I read the reviews and it showed up on almost every top ten powder boards list. Bought it in August and rode a 157 banana magic all winter saving the Orca for my February Whistler trip (didn’t want to ruin it on the ice coast before powder). I’m 6’2” size 12 boot, 175 lbs and got a 153 as recommended by T Rice himself in his YouTube orca review. Stance width is 21” left foot @ 0 & right foot at 3 degrees. Initially, I had my stance as centered as I could get it but I didn’t feel like I was sitting in the middle of the sidecut so I moved it as far back as I could and quickly forgot about it. It feels so natural, like an old friend. Strapped it on for 6 days in whistler including a heli day. This. thing. shreds. everything. Period. It cruises along on the groomers Just fine and is crazy stable, but if you want to turn the heat up, this beast will straight up dominate everything from groomers, to ripping through the glades, to perfect powder. The short tail makes it so much fun in the trees, and that kink is the future. You feel the aggressiveness in the tail from the first butter, the Orca is ready to rip. You can really dig the corners of the linked tail in on hard and fast carves. Lib-Tech, you nailed it. Please make a split Orca.

Best board ever ridden

The orca is simply awesome. But the glue between the base and the sidewall didnt hold for me as well.

WTF

I'm 6'3 and 200 lbs and bought the 159. The Orca is pure ecstasy on a snowboard. I bought it for the powder but it can hold it's own on groomers. I got this thing going 53 MPH in Mammoth and it felt stable. It also has a nice pop when going off side hits through the trees. Love this board!!
